Special Education Advocacy Services

With over 40+ years of combined experience as Special Education Coordinators, Educational Diagnosticians, Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP) and Licensed Professional Counselor Associates, our team understands both the educational and emotional aspects of navigating the IEP and 504 process.

We provide personalized support in areas such as:

  • Reviewing IEPs, 504 Plans, and evaluation data (FIEs, progress reports, behavior plans)

  • Preparing for and attending ARD/IEP meetings

  • Identifying appropriate goals, accommodations, and services

  • Strengthening home–school collaboration and communication

  • Mediation support, we will attend mediations with you to make the process run with ease.


Our mission is to help families advocate effectively, understand their rights, and build meaningful partnerships with schools to support student growth and success.

At Lemon Tree Wellness, we offer comprehensive Full Individual Evaluations (FIE) and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE) designed to help families and schools better understand a student’s learning, behavioral, and emotional needs.

With over 40+ years of combined experience as Special Education Coordinators, Educational Diagnosticians, and Licensed Professional Counselor Associates, our multidisciplinary team approaches each evaluation with precision, empathy, and a commitment to accuracy.
 

Our evaluations include:

  • Cognitive, academic, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments

  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and adaptive behavior measures

  • Review and interpretation of school and medical records

  • Detailed written reports with actionable recommendations

  • Consultation and support in ARD/IEP meetings when needed


Whether you are seeking an initial evaluation, a reevaluation, or an independent review (IEE) to ensure fairness and accuracy, our goal is to provide clear, evidence-based insights that guide educational decisions and empower families to advocate confidently.

Psychological Services

At Lemon Tree Wellness, we provide comprehensive school psychological evaluations to assess students’ cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and social functioning within an educational context. Our evaluations help schools and families make informed decisions that support each learner’s academic success and emotional well-being.

With over 40+ years of combined experience in Special Education Coordination, Educational Diagnostics, and Counseling, our multidisciplinary team uses research-based tools and culturally responsive practices to ensure accurate, individualized results.

Our services include:

  • Cognitive and achievement testing

  • Social-emotional and behavioral assessments

  • Autism and ADHD screenings

  • Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)

  • Consultation for IEP and 504 planning

Offer post-meeting summaries or recommendations if requested
